This week at dancing
El Dia De Los Muertos Celebration!!!
Dia De Los Muertos Come join in the joyful celebration and remembrance of AIFD dancers past! The Texas Camp Band is providing live music for your dancing pleasure! Feel free to bring treats and eats for our potluck snack table. In keeping with the Dia de los Muertos theme, dancers are encouraged to paint their faces as sugar skulls and wear costumes. Here is an inspirational link for some sugar skull make-up designs.

KolorashThe maestros of traditional Bulgarian Music, Bulgarika, return to Austin for another great concert. This is an event not to be missed. $10 at the door for this very special event.

The AIFD Board would like to thank all those who staffed the AIFD and TIFD information tables at the Polkapocalypse event at the Elizabeth Ney Museum on Sunday, 10/26: RosieLee Salinas, Lissa Bengtson, John Scales, Martin Blaha, Christian Cie, Elijah Cie, Michel Breger, Mike Revesz, Charlotte Revesz, Bar Lehmann, Chuck Roth, and Brenda Benton. Also, thanks to Misi Tsurikov for pulling together much of the AIFD publicity material that was made available at the AIFD table. The tables attracted a lot of people.

Please remember to sign in when you come to dancing. The city uses the sign in sheet to track the usage of HRC.

Texas Camp 2014 Remember to register for Texas Camp! Early registration ends November 1 and the absolute last day to register is November 8. Don't miss out on one of the longest running and best loved folk dance camps in the country. This year's teachers are Joe Kaloyanides Graziosi - Dances of Greece and Hardeep Singh Sahota - Dances of North India.
