New, Do, Review (NDR) All aboard! Grab your passports and join us this week as teacher Kathleen McDonagh leads us on a trip through Bulgaria! Our journey begins in the Rhodopes region with a patterned pravo –Pravo Čepelarsko Horo. From there we travel west to Pirin where we’ll dance Dramskoto, a Šetnja-like dance. Then it’s off to Ruse in Northeastern Bulgaria for Čestata, a pajduško variant danced to mouth harp music. See you at the terminal this Friday, and don’t forget to pack your dance shoes! |
