This week at dancing

MisiLila LuceEnjoy a fun evening of folk dancing DJ'd by Misi Tsurikov. Misi will be assisted by Lila Luce.
Teaching: This week we continue our teaching of dances from SAFDF 2014! Misi Tsurikov will again include some of the easier ones in the newcomers' session beginning at 7:30 p.m. Later, don't miss one of Miroslav Marcetic's masterclass dances -- the fast and fabulous Vlasinka, from southeastern Serbia, brought to AIFD by Holly Plotner. Then, look for a review of Pre Picior, another one of Miroslav's aerobic Serbian dances taught 2 weeks ago by Misi.

Saturday, April 5th

$5 at the door 17 & older. 16 & under free.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Every year or so it is worth posting a link to "Sketchy Guys". Written by Richard Powers, the social dance instructor at Stanford, Sketchy guysSketchy Guys is a simple and to the point primer on some basic social dance etiquette.

Written primarily for Richard Powers' students in his social dance classes, Sketchy Guys provides some great pointers for all types of social dance events.
