Misi TsurikovDavid LiangEnjoy a fun night of folk dancing DJ'd by Misi Tsurikov. Misi will be assisted by David Liang.
Teaching: Madeline Brock will start the evening at 7:30 pm with class #13 of our spring Madeline2015 newcomers'Christian Cie semester. The semester presents dance fundamentals and etiquette, introduced through some of our favorite folk dances. It is a great way for newcomers to learn what is so fun about dancing in general and folk dancing in particular. Later in the evening Christian Cie will conclude her teaching of Wind On Loch Fyne.

$5 at the door 17 & older. 16 & under free.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

May 2nd: Election Night & May Birthday Celebration.

AIFD Elections, May 2nd
It is that time of year to elect the AIFD Board of Trustees. This year's elections are scheduled for May 2nd at Saturday Night Dancing. If you would like to run for one of the positions, please talk to someone on the current Board or email the AIFD Board at

The Board positions are as follows: President, Ballot boxVice President, Teaching Director, Program Director, Secretary, Treasurer.

Special Notice for May 9 & 16!!!
Hancock will Under constructionbe refinishing the floors between May 9th and May 17th. As such, AIFD will NOT meet at HRC on May 9th and May 16th.
We won't let the fact that Hancock is closed stand in our way!! On May 9th plan to gather at Lila's House. If you don't know where Lila's house is, come to folk dancing before May 9th and ask someone.

AIO Annual Spring Dessert Concert!!!

AIO AIO is hosting its annual spring dessert concert at beautiful Elm House Garden on 1307 Ruth Ave. 78757. This year special guests will include LA STRADA and WOMEN SINGING! Please come help celebrate a beautiful Texas spring afternoon! There will be plenty of dessert for everyone (all Gluten Free). Bring your blanket or lawn chair and picnic basket if you would like.

Michelle Alany & the Memoriana Collective are excited to present an amazing consciousness-raising 3-day concert series to celebrate ancient traditional music of the Jewish people of Spain & Portugal, who were expelled from their lands between 1492-1496.
April 30th, 7-9pm, Sanctuary Chapel at JCC, $10 in advance (contact Michelle), $12 at the door.
May 1st, 6:30-9pm, Central Market North, as part of “Passport Greece”.
