Lila LuceEnjoy a fun night of folk dancing at Lila's house!!!. Hancock Rec Center will be closed both on May 9th and 16th while the floor is redone. Lila has graciously volunteered her house for our dancing pleasure. Mike Revesz and David Liang will be the DJs. Lila will have drinks and wine available. If you are so inspired, please bring food to share. A tip jar will be available to collect money for future AIFD live music events.Mike Revesz

La StradaJoin your fellow folk dancers at the Sunset Valley Farmers' Market for an impromptu folk dance event to the music of La Strada.

Saturday, May 30th 10am-noon: Folk Dance Flash Mob!!!
Join your fellow folk dancers for another folk dance flash mob to the tunes of La Strada, this time at the Downtown Farmers' Market.

Saturday, May 30th: Danube River Cruise Party!!!
Join AIFD as we dance down the Danube aboard our modern, virtual, river cruise vessel. Cruise participant's are encouraged to represent one of the countriesDanube River Cruise through which the Danube River flows. Starting in Bavaria we will dance downstream to the Black Sea. A dedicated cruise photographer will take pictures at the different "ports" as you show us your costumes, share your food, and welcome the cruise ship's arrival with dance. Sat, May 16, noon -5 pm: Ney Day 2015.
Celebrate Elisabet Ney and her legacy of inspiring creativity! The event will include live music, trapeze artists, hoola hoops, crafts, science projects, sculpture demos, caricature drawing, and many other activities. Free admission. See their event page.

Sat, May 16, 2-4 pm: La Strada.
La Strada will play as part of the West Austin Studio Tour: Mary Yznaga (#97), 1912 Goodrich Ave, on Saturday, May 16, 2-4pm.

Sun, May 17, 9 pm: Korobushka!!
Korobushka Korobushka will play at the Sahara Lounge alongside the talented Oto Maru and fabulous Minor Mishap Marching Band. Show starts at 8. Korobushka goes on at 9. No info about cover (assume $5).
