Plus July Birthdays!!!
| Enjoy a fun evening of dancing with the lively tunes of La Strada. Here is a snippet of the group performing at one of the farmers' markets. We will also celebrate July birthdays. Do you have a birthday in July? Do you know a fellow folk dancer who does? Make sure you, he, she, they celebrate at the July Birthday Celebration at folk dancing. John Scales will be this week's DJ. He will be assisted by RosieLee Salinas.
|Teaching: We continue Summer School - By Popular Demand! Beginning at 7:30 p.m., Misi Tsurikov will continue leading us through our top 100 favorite dances. Later in the evening Madeline Brock will review Mindrele. |

AIFD is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable experience for everyone at AIFD events. This week, the AIFD board is releasing its own Code of Conduct. The AIFD board collaborated with the staff at Hancock Rec Center and reviewed policies implemented by other groups to develop this code. The International Folk Culture Center at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio is hosting a workshop around Regency-Era Dances & English Country Dances.
