This week at dancing
Programming: Madeline Brock, assisted by Lila Luce, will DJ a great evening of folk dancing.
Teaching: Mike Revesz will kick off the evening at 7:30 with a SAFDF from the past as we review some dances from previous San Antonio Folk Dance Festivals and maybe a dance or two from Cristian Florescu and Sonia Dion, the featured teachers of this year's festival. Don't miss this once in a weekend opportunity to review some great dances!

Meet Nelda Drury|
One of the great things about the San Antonio Folk Dance Festival (SAFDF) is the opportunity to visit with Nelda Drury.
Nelda has been an inspiration to folk dancing and the performing arts around the world.
Nelda started dancing in the late 1940s. In 1956 she travelled with Michael and Marianne Herman on a State Department Sponsored trip to Japan. Since then she has conducted workshops around the US, Mexico, Europe and Asia.
Nelda's passion for dancing is unrivaled and she continues to inspire everyone she meets.
Nelda founded and has been the driving force and inspiration for the San Antonio Folk Dance Festival since its inception 55 years ago.
Spacial thanks to phantomranch.net, which is where you can find a full bio of Nelda and her amazing contribution to dancing.
