This week at dancing
Rain Dance Party!! DJ'd by Madeline.
Rain Dance Central Texas is in the midst of a multi-year drought. Let’s communally encourage the the powers that be Madelineto bless us with a LOT more rain. Wear trinkets, bracelets, coin belts, or anything else that rattles. Bring rain sticks, noisemakers, and wear a rain inspired costume if you like! Come show your enthusiasm for water as Madeline Brock leads us in the time honored tradition of rain dance! Madeline will be assisted by John Scales.

HollyTeaching: Madeline will kick the evening off promptly at 7:30 with a fabulous teaching session for newcomers. Then from 8 to 8:15 Holly Plotner will review Slängpolska, the fun Scandi dance she introduced last week.

At 8:15 the party starts ..
And oh, What a party it will be..!!!

Saturday, August 3rd
7:30-10:45 pm
$5 at the door 17 & older. 16 & under free.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

NefeshNefesh plays at The Russian House, 9 til midnight. Exciting and fun, join Nefesh for new and old tunes, traditional and modern flavors in the wild and adventurous celebration for Michelle's East Coast fall jaunt. Nefesh will have raging clarinet and crispy awesome drum-ness, 2 new Nefeshites! They'll be dancing and singing with you and at you! :)

Make your own rain rattles/shakers:
Put a small amount of rice, beans, or gravel in a dry water bottle or small plastic tub, like what humus comes in...... (Thanks Dee).
