Celebrate the Return of the Sun with Nefesh!!!
Nefesh Celebrate Easter with the lively folk dance tunes of Nefesh Joykestra: Michelle Alany-Violin/Vocals, Shirley Johnson-Accordion-Vocals, Jesse Berkowitz-Guitar, Benjamin Alany-Dumbek, Ben Saffer-Clarinet, Brad Houser-Bass, and John Bush-Drums. MadelineMichel_Breger Teaching: Madeline Brock will lead a lively and fun newcomers' session starting promptly at 7:30. Later in the evening Michel Breger will review Mechol Halahat, the Israeli dance he taught last week.

Enjoy an evening of songs from from Turkish, Azeri, Kurdish, Persian, and Pastun Traditions as the UT Middle Eastern Ensemble "Bereket" and the UT Turkish Choir "Turquoise" present Vocal Artistry Across Borders, 7:30, Bates Recital Hall, Butler School of Music. Free and open to the public.

AIFD Elections, May 17th
It is that time of year to elect the AIFD Board of Trustees. This year's elections are scheduled for May 17th at Saturday Night Dancing. If you would like to run for one of the positions, please talk to someone on the current Board or email the AIFD Board at
